Diopside: CaMgSi2O6

Comments: Very dark brown Magnesioferrite Pleonaste (Iron-Magnesium spinel) with cream colored Calcite and gray green diopside.
Location: Aldan, Gon River, Russia. Scale: 6 x 4.5 cm.

Comments: A micro, water color, hexagonal or barrel shaped crystal of white bromellite to about 0.3 mm on yellowish calcite with associated black magnesioferrite.
Location: Langban, Varmland, Sweden. Scale: 18x9x10mm.
