The number of advertisers is limited so that each client receives approximately 120,000 to 190,000 page views per month for each campaign.

Single banner ads are randomly selected for display on each page using the OpenX banner ad system. Each advertiser is also listed on each species page in a text-only ad link. In addition, each advertiser is allowed to contribute to the Webmineral News section. If you wish to pay for a years worth of banner ads, then a 15% discount is applicable (12 x $50.00) x 0.85 = $510.00.

The minimum setup of an account is $100.00 with your image artwork which will provide an estimated 1,200-4,000 click-throughs for two months and an estimated 90,000 to 120,000 page views from potential consumers.

Additional discounts can be realized by running two yearly campaigns concurrently. In this case the cost is $1020.00 and the two campaigns run for 14 months. This provides another 16% savings over the single one year (12 month) campaign.

OpenX (formerly phpadsnew) ad server settings:
- DHTML and Pop-up ads are disabled (I detest those type of ads).
- Multiple banner images for each clients "campaign" are allowed. Each banner will receive a proportion of the clients share.
- Clicks and views use a 10 second window to avoid multiple impressions from individual users.

Weekly or other time frame selection statistics are e-mailed to the client.
